The closing weekend of San Francisco's annual Noise Pop brought with it Black Map's third-ever performance at the Bottom of the Hill last night. Black Map, the Northern California super group made up of Trophy Fire's Ben Flanagan, Mark Engles of dredg and Far's Chris Robyn, unleashed a torrent of pounding, straight-ahead rock that's sure to make it into regular radio rotation this summer. For the price of a Starbucks, do the band a favor and buy their new 4-song EP here (iTunes). You won't be disappointed.

Be sure to check out the videos below for a taste of what you missed last night at the Bottom of the Hill.

"Gold" (iTunes)

Keep your ears peeled for further tour dates throughout the year and be sure you don't skip these guys when they come to your town! And in case you missed it, we had the chance to speak with Mark Engles (interview here) just a few weeks before their last show at the Blank Club in San Jose (review here) back in early January. Enjoy.
