About Us

SFBayAreaConcerts.com (SFBAC) began as a way to highlight great concerts in and around the Bay Area with quick reviews, setlists, pictures and clips from the shows.  The team is made-up of true music enthusiasts who are passionate about the bands and artists that we highlight.

Since 2006, we've done our best to feature the artists that we think you should be aware of, so if you have tips or are interested in coverage, don't hesitate to reach out at info@sfbayareaconcerts.com with your suggestion!

While the NYC Hardcore scene was in full effect, Akshay was catching shows by Les Paul or Page & Plant. Years later he would put on his own shows as president of the Penn State Jazz Club, eventually moving to SF in 2003 to continue his love for music, tech & photography.
