Preview - Monster Energy's Aftershock Festival @ Discovery Park in Sacramento (10/21-22/17)

Monster Energy's Aftershock Festival 2017
With the conclusion of Outside Lands, the summer festival circuit is fully behind us, but the one we’re most excited about this year isn’t a summer festival… it’s the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in Sacramento on October 21st and 22nd – just about 6 weeks away! Now in its’ 6th year, the two-day event has arguably attracted its biggest and best line-up yet. Headliners include Nine Inch Nails and Ozzy Osbourne with Zakk Wylde on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. But the full line-up includes – and I hope you’re sitting down for this – A Perfect Circle, Five Finger Death Punch, Run the Jewels, Mastodon, Marilyn Manson, Halestorm, Highly Suspect, Eagles of Death Metal, Suicidal Tendencies, Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes and the Bay Area’s own Black Map. That’s not all either! The full list can be found below, but don’t spend any more time reading this, click this link to get your tickets while they’re still available!
Monster Energy's Aftershock Festival 2017 Line-up
If you’re still reading this, I should hope that you’ve already bought a ticket, but if not, all I can say is that this is one event that you won’t want to miss! Nine Inch Nails have emerged from their self-induced hibernation with a few sparse festival appearances already this summer, but this will be their first northern California visit. They’ll be supporting the release of a new EP, Add Violence, that was released July 19th. A Perfect Circle, led by Maynard James Keenan, was last spotted in the Bay Area when they played the Bill Graham Civic on April 13th. And how much longer will we have a chance to see Ozzy? Especially with the addition of Zakk Wylde!?! Those 3 alone should be reason enough to splurge on the ticket, but the line-up goes deep with great acts across the whole weekend!

Among the lesser known bands will be Bay Area natives, Black Map, who will lead off Sunday’s show in support of their recent release, In Droves. Their first single, “Run Rabbit Run”, has been climbing the rock charts and I’ve included the video below.

Don't live to regret missing this festival and be sure to get tickets while they're still available here!
